Jeffrey Bloom is a thoroughbred industry veteran of more than 35 years. He was a professional jockey in addition to serving as a racing manager, marketing and media relations’ consultant and broadcaster. During his 9 year riding career, Jeffrey raced at many of the major tracks throughout North America including his first race at Del Mar in front of a home town crowd having grown up in San Diego.
After retiring as a jockey, Jeffrey became the main workout rider for leading trainers that include Hall of Famer Charlie Whittingham where he was privileged to have worked out countless Grade 1 winners that include 1989 Kentucky Derby winner Sunday Silence . Following his riding career, Jeffrey earned a B.S. degree in Financial Services from San Diego State University and his business resume includes a successful venture in corporate business development in the software technology industry.
Jeffrey founded and runs Bloom Racing Stable, LLC a fully integrated horse racing company. Jeffrey’s first acquisition, Majestic City, was a multiple graded stake winner and now a commercial stallion standing at Questroyal North in New York.
Jeffrey is extremely passionate about racehorses and their overall welfare both on and off the racetrack. He is proud to have recently joined the advisory board of the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance a nonprofit organization that provides funding for approved racehorse aftercare facilities. He is also a 9-year board member of Ivey Ranch Park Association, a nonprofit organization that provides service and care for special needs children through therapeutic equine activities.

Hannah grew up with her father, Jeff Bloom, a former jockey and owner of Bloom Racing Stable. She has grown up attending the races, a regular at Del Mar, Santa Anita and Hollywood Park and has always had a love for the sport. She recently graduated from the University of Arizona, studying Journalism and Communication. Before joining Bloom Racing, Hannah held multiple public relations and marketing internships, including working for the Del Mar Racetrack two summers in a row. She currently lives in San Diego enjoying her position as Communications Director and going wherever the horses will take her.
